Disruptive behaviours in the classroom: What do you do? | 14 March - LX at UTS
  • Tuesday, 14 March 2023
    1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • LX.lab CB06.04.020

Who should attend?

All teaching staff, new and experienced, continuing or on contracts, are welcome at this event.

What will we explore?

At UTS, we strive to foster a teaching and learning environment where you and our students feel a sense of belonging and safety. However, there may be occasions where certain behaviours disrupt this. This may include threatening, racist or sexist behaviours towards others in the classroom.

Join us for a cuppa in our first Talking about Teaching and Learning event of 2023, to share and discuss:

  • types of disruptive behaviours you have experienced in your classroom.
  • ideas and strategies on how to manage disruptive behaviours.

This is an in-person event. It will not be streamed online.

Spaces are limited, so make sure to register early to secure your spot.

Talking about Teaching and Learning (TaTaL)

This event is part of TaTaL, a monthly social learning series for new and experienced teaching staff at UTS, to learn with and from each other. If you have any questions about this event series, please send us an email.
