What will you learn?
There are many ways to communicate with your students in Canvas
In this 1 hour session, learn how to:
- use Announcements to communicate publicly to your students.
- use the Inbox to communicate privately to individual or groups of students.
- use Discussions to facilitate asynchronous conversations between you and your students.
- use the Calendar to communicate important events.
- set up your Notifications preferences.

Casual academic program
The program is open to UTS casual academics who are teaching in Spring session 2021. You are invited to participate in up to TWO of these online professional development workshops and be paid for your time*. Please note that there are caps on some workshops.
*Paid places are at the Other Academic Activity non-PhD rate of $49.47. This is a professional learning opportunity, not a teaching activity.
Please note: Staff who are in full-time or fractional academic employment at UTS in addition to their casual academic contract are not eligible for payment.
