Error message troubleshooting
‘This subject outline not yet available’ appears when the Subject Outline has not yet been generated or has been withdrawn in CIS. Read the section on ‘How to generate your Subject Outline’.
‘Sorry, a technical error has occurred’ will appear when there is a problem with the subject set up, or if you don’t have permission to access the Subject Outline. Please log an IT Service Request via ServiceConnect (opens a UTS website).
‘Sorry, a technical error has occurred: This application is unable to provide support for Student View‘ will appear if you try to see the Subject Outline in Canvas Student View. Like some other external apps, the Subject Outline app does not recognise Student View as an actual student and therefore will not display. Rest assured if you can see your published Subject Outline in your Teacher role, your students can see it too.
