Your Subject Outline - now available to students in Canvas! - LX at UTS

Subject Coordinators, Faculty Administrators, anyone and everyone who cares to know: gone is the time when you had to download a PDF from CIS and upload it again to your subject site in Canvas!

Now, when you’ve finished your work in CIS (Curriculum Information System) and published your outline, click Preview/Generate PDF and it will be pushed out to appear on your Canvas site.

Generate PDF for Canvas in CIS

The new Subject Outline will pop up as an item on your Canvas subject menu just after the Home menu item.

The Subject Outline is located after Home on the Canvas subject menu

There might be some browser issues to begin with so suggest to your students for Autumn 2020 that they use Chrome or Safari to access Canvas.

If you get an error or get any queries from students please lodge a Service Connect ticket with the Learning and Teaching Systems Team

Otherwise, it’s all smooth sailing in the subject outline sea.

You can find a detailed overview of the process on LX resources under Subject Outline guide.

Good luck this session and remember that the LX.lab has got your back.
