UTS Teaching and Learning Forum: Call for contributions now open - LX at UTS

The annual UTS Teaching and Learning Forum will be held on:

Date: Tuesday 12 November 2019
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Where: Peter Johnson Building (Building 6, Level 3)

We are now inviting individuals and teams to submit contributions to our annual Teaching and Learning Forum.  We welcome contributions related to themes such as graduate attributes development, flipped learning, blended learning, active learning, collaborative learning, authentic assessment, feedback for students, personalised learning, inclusive teaching and curriculum, and the embedding of Indigenous professional capabilities into curriculum. Contributions related to other UTS teaching and learning initiatives such as the First and Further Year Experience, Teaching and Learning Grant projects, learning technologies, and faculty initiatives are also welcome.

This year we are offering two presentation formats: 1) Poster presentations and 2) Short paper presentations.

Details are as follows:

1) Poster presentations will take place at our Forum morning tea session and lunch.  Presentation time: up to 30 minutes.

2) Short paper presentations will take place from 11am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm, with approximately 30 presentation slots available.  Presentation time: 25 minutes, including question time.  Criteria: Relevance to the forum; Clarity of the teaching and learning activity description.

Please note that the final program is dependent on the number, types and quality of submissions received. You may be asked to present in an alternative format.  Also, due to the limited number of spots available, you can only be on two submissions (and be the lead on only one of these).

Deadline for submissions: 11pm, Monday 21 October 2019

Abstracts and presentation format preferences should be submitted via the online form, which can be found using the link below:

Note: Online submission is set up in MS Forms and requires you to sign in with your UTS account.  This will enable you to get receipt of your submission.
