UTS staff can now join ASCILITE at no cost - LX at UTS

Just under four years ago, I jumped on a plane and headed to Geelong to take part in the 2018 ASCILITE conference. I wrote about my experience in my recap blog post back then, and I still have good memories of meeting and hearing from some of the many innovative learning and teaching practitioners that make up ASCILITE. If you work in learning and teaching, ASCILITE is a community you definitely want to be part of.

This is why it’s especially exciting that UTS staff now have the opportunity to join ASCILITE. The University has subscribed to a three-year institutional membership at Diamond level, and will cover membership fees for any UTS staff who wish to join.

Signing up to ASCILITE

The conditions of membership can be found on the ASCILITE signup page:

Membership is open to all staff at the University of Technology Sydney who have an interest in technology-enhanced learning, teaching and research, learning design, applications development, interactive media or those who have responsibility for managing learning and teaching teams. Membership is for a three year period and you may opt-out at any time via the ASCILITE member bulletin which you will receive each fortnight after you join.
