The 2022 UTS WIL Symposium is fast approaching - LX at UTS

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Symposium will be held on Friday 30 September from 9:45 am – 4 pm.

At this year’s WIL Symposium, we are spotlighting the ‘I’ in WIL. Integration is key in WIL, not only integrating theory and practice, but also technical and communication skills, and exploring beyond yourself towards others, groups, and communities within and outside UTS. How do we integrate learning, practices, experiences, attributes and assessments, ensuring a successful outcome for all stakeholders?

Last year’s inaugural event introduced and workshopped the UTS WIL Quality Framework. This year, we will be expanding the conversation to our partners in industry, community and the professions and we include students, using an interdisciplinary, cross-faculty lens.

Join us for a packed event across two separate sessions:

Morning Session

9:45 am – 12:30 pm on Zoom, featuring:

  • Opening address, Professor Andrew Parfitt (Vice-Chancellor and President)
  • Professor Carl Rhodes (Dean of Business School) moderating the external partners panel with interactions from the audience
  • The Always Program Heidi Norman (Associate Dean (Indigenous) FASS) and Therese Apolonio (Research Assistant FASS)
  • Student Panel

We’re excited to introduce 4 industry professionals to our external partner panel:
