Are you looking for an opportunity to fast-track your teaching at UTS? In March IML is offering a series of workshops designed to give casual academics new to UTS a paid opportunity to participate in a range of practical and popular, interactive sessions.

Paid attendance will be for 2.5 hours for up to two workshops at the current ’Other Academic Activity’ (1) rate of $45.01per hour and will be restricted to participants with an eligible current casual teaching contract at UTS*. Priority will be given in the first instance to casual academics who are new to UTS (or have not participated in previous UTS Casual Academics Conferences and Workshops). Casual academics who have attended workshops in the past can register their interest on the Registration page, and will be advised if a place is available one week prior to the workshops.
Confirmations for new participants will be sent by email within five working days of receipt of your registration. We will notify you of whether a place is available and confirm the room numbers for your workshop/s.
Some workshops are now full. Other workshops will run later in the year so keep an eye out on this blog.
* Please note: Staff who are in full-time or fractional academic employment at UTS in addition to their casual academic contract are not eligible for payment.
