Learning and Teaching Grants 2017: guidelines and applications

Full details for the 2017 UTS Vice-Chancellor’s grants can be viewed on the UTS website.

What are the Vice-Chancellor’s grants?

In 2017, there are two types of grants available.

1. video/screencast making grants

This is a new category of grants for 2017.  These grants will support the development of higher quality video, screencast and similar materials to support student learning, consistent with learning.futures and the balanced teaching periods.  Grants are available for amounts of $2,000-$4,000 or equivalent professional assistance to staff who have participated in the Power of Screen Presenting workshops.  Further workshops will be offered in early 2017 for interested staff.

2. learning.futures grants

The grants support staff to re-engineer their approaches to teaching and learning in line with the learning.futures strategy, incorporating learning.futures practices in courses and subject, the UTS Model of Learning and the Graduate Attributes Project, along with the requirements of the Academic Calendar.

Who can apply?

All UTS staff are eligible to apply. Applications can be for an individual or group project.
