UTS supports captioning as an important component of accessibility and inclusion;. This session explores captioning for videos, online chat rooms and live situations such as classrooms, events and meetings. It will cover definitions and distinctions between open captions, closed captions, live captioning, subtitles, transcribers and captioning providers that we use at UTS, and helpful online tools. Digital Literacy Kits | 22 August
Join UTS Library in an exploration of our brand new digital literacy kits. This roundtable session will have hands-on activities with a selection of the kits, combined with a discussion of how they have been incorporated into teaching practices. Register here.

Remember to book a drop-in session if you’re looking for help with learning technologies, and sign up to the Futures newsletter to stay in the loop. Staff are always very welcome to suggest events they’d like to see at the Hub, or to contribute to the Futures blog (email blog.lx-dev.uts.edu.au).
