Celebrating learning and teaching stars from across NSW and the ACT - LX at UTS

UTS hosted the annual Australian Awards for University Teaching ceremony last week, where teaching and learning staff from across NSW and the ACT were honoured for their contributions to students’ learning and university experience.

Throughout the evening, attendees heard from recipients about their innovative approaches to teaching and learning and how their work benefits students in higher education.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students) Prof Kylie Readman spoke to the richness across the sector and how the awards recognise the diversity and strength across the teaching and learning community.

She commended all recipients from across NSW, acknowledging how competitive the awards are.

Provost Prof Vicki Chen said it was wonderful to celebrate the transformative power of educators in New South Wales and the ACT.

We know the enormous contribution that the learning and teaching community makes, not only for higher education institutions and students but to broader society

Professor Vicki Chen, Provost and Senior Vice-President
