Hot Topic Theme: Work Integrated Learning and External Partnerships
From the first week of the program, Master of Genetic Counselling students develop workplace skills using authentic, collaborative virtual simulation experiences. In the final weeks, students demonstrate their readiness for the workplace by independently managing a simulated workload including triage, problem solving, and complex cases.
We’ll share our experiences of preparing students to enter the workplace in a remote learning environment using virtual clinical placements, simulation and networking.
