Subject Coordinators can use the Staff Roles tab to add, remove or change the role of a staff member in a REVIEW site.
Adding a staff member to a subject
To add a staff member to a subject:
- Type the staff member’s name or staff ID number in the search box
- Choose the relevant name from the list. The staff member will be automatically allocated the Tutor role
- (Optional) Change the staff member’s Role to Lecturer to allow the staff member to Publish results to students
- Click Save
- Subject Coordinators cannot give another staff member the Subject Coordinator role. Please contact your Faculty APO if another person needs to be given the Subject Coordinator role.
- The Faculty listed next to the user has no impact on what they can do in the subject. Tutors, for example, can still mark a task if the subject is from a different faculty
Changing a staff member’s role in a subject
To change a staff member’s role in a subject:
- Select the check box next to the staff member’s ID number
- Choose the required Role from the drop down menu
- Click Save
Removing a staff member from a subject
To remove a staff member from a subject:
- Select the check box next to the staff member’s ID number
- Click Remove
